Featherock (Boulders)

These boulders are so light that they almost float on water. They are actually chunks of volcanic pumice. They can be easily carved and they handle heat well. With 40-50 boulders per skid, the skid usually weighs about 1100 lbs (500 kg). Each boulder should be easily handled by 1 person. Actual colours will vary, depending on the make-up the volcano at the time.
